Treatments that make the cut.

Challenge

In commercial production, directors win jobs by submitting “treatments” (aka high-stakes presentations) that must persuade agencies and brands to trust their vision. The stakes are enormous: budgets often range from $5k to $3M+ per campaign, and directors typically have less than 72 hours to transform an their concept into a client-ready narrative.

The challenge isn’t just making a deck. It’s translating a director’s creative vision into a persuasive, on-brand pitch that will win against equally talented competitors all while working under tight deadlines.

Outcome

The treatments I designed consistently helped directors secure competitive commercial work. By building clear visual frameworks and aligning the narrative to agency expectations, I gave directors the tools to “win the room” even when time and resources were limited.

Revenue impact: Collectively, this body of work secured campaigns across multiple directors and scaled into millions of dollars in value for the brands involved.

Speed impact: Repeatable systems and templates cut turnaround times and increase efficiency, while maintaining quality under pressure.

Trust impact: Bold creative ideas were balanced with brand constraints in ways that gave clients confidence.

My Role

This work honed my ability to turn ambiguity into clarity by translating abstract ideas into persuasive stories. It strengthened my skill in designing high-stakes presentations that drive decisions and sharpened my capacity to operate under extreme time pressure without sacrificing clarity or craft. It also pushed me to build repeatable systems that scale storytelling across projects and to balance bold creative expression with brand-safe constraints that gave clients confidence. These same capabilities now apply anywhere an abstract idea needs to be made legible, compelling, and high trust at speed, from brand launches to keynotes to complex product storytelling.
