Please Keep Well

A second life looks good on you.

Challenge

Please Keep Well began as a project repurposing thrifted pots and containers with homegrown plants for resale and rehoming. Founder Benjamin Badiuk wanted to explore how the brand could grow beyond those origins, expanding into new products while loosely entertaining a revenue stream. The challenge was to design a system flexible enough to carry forward existing brand elements while evolving into apparel and other expressions, with sustainability and reuse remaining at the centre.

Outcome

The result was a set of product concepts that extended the PKW world. Apparel designs combined Ben’s hand-drawn sketches with repurposed content from the brand’s Instagram, screen-printed in limited runs on thrifted tees. This reinforced PKW’s ethos of reuse and sustainability while giving the brand a playful, community-driven presence. The work positioned PKW as more than a small project, showing how design can spark joy, encourage new oppertunities, and open paths for growth.

My Role

I collaborated with Ben to explore how Please Keep Well could grow beyond its re-planter origins. I designed apparel concepts and supporting visuals that incorporated reused sketches and sustainable production methods to preserve the brand’s ethos. My role was to keep every expression tied to the core idea of second life while giving the brand a tangible example of how it could expand into new areas and opportunities.
